Blind Assessment
Roundly and richly tart; lively. Orangy citrus, honeysuckle, honey, vanilla, a spicy hint of sandalwood in aroma and cup. Delicately juicy, bright acidity; very silky mouthfeel. Flavor consolidates in a resonant, sweet-toned finish.
Notes
This coffee is certified organically grown. Although the words "Fair Trade" appear as well on the label of the attractive 12-ounce valve-topped can, the trade-marked seal of Fair Trade USA does not. Fondo Paez is a cooperative of 550 farmers from the indigenous Paez people of central Colombia. Wonderstate Coffee, formerly Kickapoo Coffee, is an award-winning roaster based in rural Wisconsin known for their commitment to guaranteeing higher pay for farmers and being the country’s first 100% solar powered roastery. Who Should Drink It
Classic Colombia breakfast cup with bonus nuance and depth and a fine social and environmental story.
