Blind Assessment
Bright, sweetly tart. Distinct orange-toned nut in the aroma. In the cup, delicate acidity, leanish but smooth mouthfeel, and continued rich orange, cocoa and nut notes carrying into a flavor-saturated finish that turns rather woody and simple as the cup cools.
Notes
This coffee was decaffeinated using a water-only method that does not involve use of a solvent. It is certified organically grown and also Fair Trade certified, meaning it was purchased at a "fair" or economically sustainable price from small-holding farmers organized in democratically-run cooperatives. Pachamama is a global cooperative made up of regional cooperatives in five different countries: Ethiopia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. Pachamama coffees are roasted in small batches in the United States and packaged in high quality valve bags. Visit www.pacha.coop or call 530-204-7554 for more information.
Who Should Drink It
A gently bright Latin-style breakfast cup for those who face the morning caffeine-free.
