Blind Assessment
Flowers, butter and nut in the aroma with a fleeting hint of a buttery coconut-like fruit. In the cup penetrating orange-toned acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel and complex layers of flavors: flowers, orange, lemon, nut and fir-like aromatic wood. Dry in the finish with citrus and fir tones lingering distinctly in the long.
Notes
Located in Guatemala's famous Antigua valley, Finca Puerta Verde is an award winning farm owned by the same family for four generations. An integral part of New York's coffee renaissance, Brooklyn-based Cafe Grumpy opened its first cafe in 2005 and has since expanded to three locations, in addition to their own roasting facility. Who Should Drink It
