Blind Assessment
Sweetly and gently pungent. Prune, nut, chocolate, a hint of honey in aroma and cup. Round, quiet acidity; light but buttery-textured mouthfeel. Sweet-toned, simple finish.
Notes
Processed by the pulped natural method, in which the skin is removed from the coffee fruit immediately after picking, but the seeds or beans are dried with the sweet pulp, or fruit flesh, still adhering to them. Produced entirely from trees of the heirloom Yellow Bourbon variety of Arabica. This coffee is Utz Certified, meaning it fulfills social, environmental and traceability standards embodied in the Utz Certified Code of Conduct. Nossa Familia donates one dollar per pound of coffee purchased to the consumer’s choice of seven different charitable organizations. Nossa Familia (“our family” in Portuguese) is an Oregon-based roaster that imports and roasts coffee from the family’s farms in Brazil.
