We’re tracking the progress of tropical storm Iselle, which is bringing 60 mph winds and heavy rains to the coffee growing areas in Hawaii. According to the Weather Channel, Iselle made landfall at 2:30 a.m. HST about five miles east of Pahala in the Ka’u growing district. There have already been reports of structural damage, trees downed, power outages, and some flooding. Roofs were reportedly removed from homes just southeast of Hilo late Thursday night. As of early Friday morning, parts of the Big Island had already picked up over eight inches of rain. You can track the latest conditions on Weather.com.
