Blind Assessment
Quietly pungent, sweet. Dark chocolate, molasses, oak, hints of thyme and lily in aroma and cup. Round, resonant acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. The chocolate and hints of herb and flowers carry into a simple though rich finish.
Notes
This micro-lot combines coffee from two small-holding farmers, Fredy Jimenez and Marcos Vasquez. The Bean Fruit motto is a quotation from Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Visit www.beanfruit.com or call 601-624-2605 for more information.
Who Should Drink It
Those who enjoy quiet complexity in a low-toned though resonant classic Guatemala cup.
