Blind Assessment
(As brewed in a Keurig B70 Platinum single-serve brewing device using a Keurig-compatible UpShot capsule containing 11+ grams of coffee to produce a 6-ounce serving). Delicate but rich; sweet; gently intricate. Dark chocolate, dried cherry, lilac, sandalwood in aroma and cup. Brisk though backgrounded acidity; cherry and flowers in particular carry into a sweetly crisp finish.
Notes
Yirgacheffe is a coffee region in southern Ethiopia that produces distinctively floral- and fruit-toned coffees from traditional varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. This is a “natural” or dry-processed Yirgacheffe, meaning the beans were dried inside the fruit, encouraging a flavor profile that is lower-toned and more pungent than the more familiar wet-processed Yirgacheffe floral- and citrus-toned profile. Giv COFFEE is dedicated to three goals: to provide quality coffee, to provide a fair price to farmers, and to give back to those in need. Giv COFFEE donates two dollars of every retail bag sold. Who Should Drink It
This crisp yet sweet, delicately complex cup gives Keurig owners a quiet yet still engaging suggestion of the lush intrigue of fine southern Ethiopia dried-in-the-fruit coffees.
