Blind Assessment
Crisply nutty, exuberantly floral. Almond, cedar, brown sugar, ripe orange, complex flowers (gardenia, lavender, rose) in aroma and cup. Round, deeply expressed acidity; plump mouthfeel. Cedar and orange carry into a sweet, mildly drying finish.
Notes
This is a special auction lot produced by El Injerto, one of Guatemala’s most celebrated coffee farms, from the admired bold-bean Pacamara variety of Arabica. Pacamara is a cross between the giant-beaned Maragogipe variety and Pacas, a selection of the heirloom Bourbon. Huehuetenango is a particularly admired Guatemala growing region.
