Blind Assessment
Spicy, sweet, subtly intricate. Dark chocolate, lavender, sandalwood, pink peppercorn in aroma and cup. Tart but profoundly sweet acidity; satiny mouthfeel. Chocolate and lavender carry far into a richly sweet finish.
Notes
Certified organically grown. Southern Ethiopia coffees like this one are produced from traditional Ethiopian varieties of Arabica long grown in the region. This version is processed by the pulped natural or “honey” method, in which the skin is removed from the coffee fruit immediately after picking, but the seeds or beans are dried with all or part of the sweet pulp, or fruit flesh, still adhering to them. Paradise Roasters specializes in micro-lot coffees and espressos from Hawaii and other premier coffee growing regions. The company prides itself on quality and freshness, craft-roasting coffees in small batches only after orders are placed. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 763-433-0626 for more information.
Who Should Drink It
