Blind Assessment
(As brewed in a Keurig 2.0 K500 Series single-serve brewing device at a 6-ounce serving size). Crisply sweet, caramelly. Malt, burnt caramel, almond, lily-like flowers, cherry in aroma and cup. Balanced, gently brisk acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. The richly drying short finish consolidates around caramel and almond in the long.
Notes
This coffee is certified organically grown and Fair Trade Certified, meaning it was purchased from small-holding farmers at a “fair” or economically sustainable price. Keurig/Green Mountain, formerly Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, pioneered single-serve capsule brewing in the United States with its Keurig brewing system, and offers a particularly wide-ranging variety of origins and roast styles for use in its sophisticated 2.0 brewing system. Bottom Line
A crisp yet deeply sweet, caramel-toned K-cup Peru with impressive environmental and socio-economic credentials.
