Blind Assessment
Crisply sweet, chocolaty. Dark chocolate, smoky cedar, prune, gardenia, cashew in aroma and cup. Bittersweet structure with virtually no perceptible acidity; lean, gently drying mouthfeel. The finish centers around notes of dark chocolate and smoky cedar.
Notes
A single-origin coffee from Bali, processed by the wet-hulled method, the processing method associated with the most characteristic coffees of Sumatra. Mooju Coffee is named after a combination of the husband-and-wife founders’ names (Moojin and Julie). The Temecula, California-based roastery was founded on their mutual passion for all things coffee. For more information, visit www.moojucoffee.com.
Bottom Line
A single-origin coffee from Bali with a darker roast profile, a good choice for those who prefer coffees with lower perceived acidity.
