Blind Assessment
Chocolaty, deeply rich. Dark chocolate, vanilla bean, yellow plum, cashew butter, cedar in aroma and cup. Brightly sweet with vibrant, juicy acidity; viscous, richly satiny mouthfeel. A long finish consolidates to notes of vanilla bean and cashew butter.
Notes
Produced by Eulogia Carrillo Julca of Finca El Mango, from trees of the Caturra, Pache and Typica varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Certified Organic and Fair Trade, and a “JBC Female-Forward Coffee.” JBC Coffee Roasters’ vision is simple: “let the coffee lead the way” through sourcing and roasting the best and most unique coffees available and rewarding the farmers who grow those coffees with substantial premiums. Bottom Line
A bright, deep-toned, richly sweet and very satisfying women-farmed washed Ecuador cup.
