Blind Assessment
Balanced, fruit-toned. Dried black cherry, almond nougat, sassafras, oak, lilac in aroma and cup. Bright, winey acidity; lightly satiny mouthfeel. Crisply sweet-tart finish with notes of black cherry and almond.
Notes
Produced by Admilson Jose Galerani on his 7-hectare farm, entirely of the Yellow Catuai variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Index Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Fairfax, Virginia. Visit www.indexcoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
Dried stonefruit and rich almond nougat characterize this natural-processed Brazil with wine-like acidity.
