Blind Assessment
Richly complex, dazzlingly classic. Black currant, orange blossom, toffee, Meyer lemon zest, butter in aroma and cup. Sweet-tart-savory acidity in balanced harmony; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Long, lingering, deep-toned finish.
Notes
This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 6 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 30 Coffees of 2023. Produced by smallholding members of the Kibugu Farmer's Cooperative Society, from trees of the SL28 and SL34 varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bottom Line
An exquisitely composed classic Kenya cup: juicy, bright, deep and rich, with especially complex and lyrical acidity.
