Blind Assessment
Delicately fruit-forward, deep-toned. Pomegranate, alyssum, saltwater taffy, almond, brown sugar in aroma and cup. Brisk acidity; satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Gentle finish centered around suggestions of pomegranate and almond.
Notes
Produced at Finca Monteblanco, entirely of the Purple Caturra variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp are removed before drying) with the addition of passionfruit to the conventional fermentation step. GK Coffee is a nano-roastery in Yilan, Taiwan, that offers both retail and wholesale coffee. For more information, visit www.gkcoffee.com.tw.
Bottom Line
Tart fruit and delicately sweet florals characterize this conventionally fermented, passionfruit-infused Colombia Purple Caturra.
