Blind Assessment
Floral-toned, fruity. Raspberry jam, narcissus, dark chocolate, hazelnut, cedar in aroma and cup. Balanced, sweet-tart acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Raspberry and dark chocolate lead in the long finish, supported by hints of narcissus.
Notes
Produced by smallholding farmers, from local heirloom varieties of Arabica, and processed by the black honey method, in which much of the fruit flesh is left on the bean during the dying process. Kakalove Café is a nano-roaster located in the small city of Chia-Yi in Taiwan that strives to procure and roast the finest quality coffee. Bottom Line
An elegant, richly floral, fruit-toned Ethiopia black honey, high-toned and complex.
