Richly aromatic, deep-toned. Raspberry, tangerine, cocoa nib, lilac, myrrh in aroma and cup. Bright, balanced acidity; very smooth, silky mouthfeel. Long, lingering, harmonious and integrated finish.
Notes
This exceptional coffee was selected as the No. 15 coffee on Coffee Review’s list of the Top 30 Coffees of 2024. Produced by the Daye Bensa-Dukamo Family, from heirloom varieties of Arabica, and processed by the anaerobic washed method, in which, after skin and pulp removal, fermentation takes place in a hermetically sealed vessel before the beans are washed and dried. Founded by the co-owner of Olympia Coffee, Oliver Stormshak, who has worked in the coffee industry for more than three decades, Oliver’s Custom Coffee features rare varietals, experimental lots, and custom fermentations. Bottom Line
A meticulously processed anaerobic washed Ethiopia with distinct, lilting notes of wild raspberry and tangerine supported by crisp cocoa nib — plushly sweet, delicately tart, invitingly complex.
