Blind Assessment
Intensely sweet, deeply aromatic. Magnolia, dried apricot, cocoa nib, lemon drop, pineapple taffy. Tart-savory acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Cocoa-toned pineapple taffy and magnolia notes lead in the finish.
Notes
Produced by Juan Felipe of Finca La Reserva, entirely of the Gesha variety of Arabica, and processed by the anaerobic natural method (fermented in an oxygen-free environment for 96 hours), then dried in the whole fruit. Bottom Line
A fun roller coaster of a sensory ride: floral, fruity, citrusy and cocoa-toned, this complex anaerobic Colombia Geisha delights at every surprising turn.
