Blind Assessment
Bright, balanced, tropical-leaning. Passionfruit, ginger blossom, cocoa nib, Meyer lemon zest, amber in aroma and cup. Delicate, high-toned acidity; satiny-smooth mouthfeel. The finish is quietly confident, long and lingering, with notes of cocoa nib, ginger blossom and passionfruit.
Notes
Produced at Noelani Farm, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by a double-fermentation method, first with wine yeasts in a bioreactor, and then pulped and fermented again in the fruit must. Paradise prides itself on quality and freshness, craft-roasting coffees in small batches only after orders are placed. Visit www.paradiseroasters.com or call 808-498-4048 for more information.
Bottom Line
A double-fermented Kona Geisha processed with wine yeasts, resulting in an extraordinary, uniquely composed coffee — a journey through the sensory aromas and flavors of the tropics.
