Blind Assessment
Fruit-forward, richly sweet-tart. Red currant, almond butter, magnolia, cedar, lemon verbena in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. Floral-toned finish with rich cedar and sweet currant notes.
Notes
Produced by Abby and Sal Muñoz of Monarch Farm, entirely of the Gesha variety of Arabica, and processed by the anaerobic washed method with the addition of Champagne yeasts to the fermentation. Founded by the co-owner of Olympia Coffee, Oliver Stormshak, who has worked in the coffee industry for more than three decades, Oliver’s Custom Coffee features rare varietals, experimental lots, and custom fermentations. Bottom Line
This fruit-centered anaerobic washed Kona Gesha gets ballast from rich nut and sweet floral tones throughout the profile.
