Blind Assessment
Richly fruit-driven, sweetly herbaceous. Caramelized pineapple, pistachio, satsuma mandarin, sage, raw cacao in aroma and cup. High-toned, malic acidity; lively, lightly syrupy, very smooth mouthfeel. Harmonious, deeply aromatic, flavor-laden finish.
Notes
Produced by Rigoberto Herrera of Cafe Granja La Esperanza’s Las Margaritas Farm, entirely of the Sudan Rume variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). JBC Coffee Roasters’ vision is simple: “Let the coffee lead the way” through sourcing and roasting the best coffees available and rewarding the farmers who grow those coffees with substantial premiums. Bottom Line
A voluptuous Colombia Sudan Rume natural that leads with tropical fruit and citrus notes, supported by earthy-sweet herbs and just-harvested cacao.
