Blind Assessment
Richly sweet, berry-toned. Mulberry, tamarind, mustard seed, candied violet, lemongrass in aroma and cup. Crisp, briskly sweet acidity; very full, satiny-smooth mouthfeel. Berry-laden finish propped up by notes of tangy tamarind and richly savory-spicy mustard seed.
Notes
Produced by Mullugeta Muntasha, entirely of the 74158 variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Utopian Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Visit www.utopiancoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A multilayered and intriguing single-variety Ethiopia natural with sweet floral, dark berry, complex spices and herby citrus notes throughout the profile.
