Blind Assessment
Odd profile: simple, monotoned and woody in aroma, with some hints of cocoa and orange. In the cup very flat and herby, dominated by a bitter nut sensation. The finish is both monumentally bitter and extremely astringent.
Notes
This coffee is packaged in proprietary filterpacks for the Flavia SB100 single serve brewer. Flavia ("The Cafe of Choice") is a brand of Mars Incorporated, a large privately owned company that started with its now classic candies before adding pet food (Whiskas), people food (Uncle Ben's) and vending systems, including the Flavia SB100 home single-serve brewer.
