Blind Assessment
Evaluated as espresso. Intricate and lush; tartly sweet. Caramel, hibiscus and rose, candied ginger, honeydew melon in aroma and small cup. Lean though smooth mouthfeel. Floral notes in particular carry into a remarkably long, complex finish. Flavor carries intact into two parts milk, where a hint of grapefruity acidity is juxtaposed with the milky sweetness.
Notes
Coffee from trees of the botanical variety "Gesha" or "Geisha" grown on farmer Price Peterson's Hacienda La Esmeralda in Panama has consistently broken records paid for a green coffee. With its long, boat-shaped beans and distinctive floral and chocolate cup, the Esmeralda Panama Gesha continues one of the world's most unique coffees. The Coffee Academïcs is a purveyor and roaster of specialty coffee in Hong Kong since 2012. Visit www.the-coffeeacademics.com or call +852-3104-0075 for more information.
Who Should Drink It
Intricate and luscious; richly sweet. Caramel, hibiscus and rose, candied-ginger, and honeydew melon in aroma and small-cup. Very lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Sweet floral notes and buttery richness carries through a remarkable finish. Richly flavor saturated in two- to four-parts milk with a touch of grapefruit acidity, all of which is buoyantly juxtapositioned with the milky sweetness.
