Blind Assessment

Deep, richly spicy, balanced. Butter, hazelnut, pungently mango-like fruit, a hint of dark chocolate. Juicy, opulent acidity; very smooth, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Flavor fades slightly in an otherwise sweet, resonant finish.

Notes

Lake Tawar is situated in a crater valley at the heart of the Aceh growing region near the far northwestern tip of the island of Sumatra. “19+” refers to a grade of coffee representing only beans of the very largest size, screen 19 or up. The literally named In Taipei Roaster is located, where else, in Taipei, Taiwan. It imports high-quality green coffee from foreign traders to provide fine roasted coffee to Taiwanese consumers. Who Should Drink It

This well-structured variant on the Sumatra profile, with its pungent fruit and big, juicy acidity, should please aficionados of the type.
