Blind Assessment
Lovely balance; complete. Caramelly chocolate, grapefruity citrus, delicate, meadowy flowers in aroma and cup. Gently bright acidity; plush mouthfeel. Caramel and grapefruit in particular carry into a sweet-toned finish.
Notes
Catracha Coffee is a project organized by Honduran-American Mayra Orellana-Powell aimed at increasing coffee quality and income for a group of small farmers from the Honduran village of Santa Elena where Ms. Orellana-Powell was born. This is a particularly fine microlot from Catracha Coffee produced on the farm of Alfonso Hernandez. Roast Co. is a small-batch roasting company based in Oakland, California founded by Alex Roberts and Andrew Green with the vision of roasting high-quality coffees sourced through conscious connections. Who Should Drink It
Those who enjoy a classic cup with fine structure and a quietly complete set of aromatics: a little chocolate, a little citrus, a shimmer of flowers.
