Blind Assessment
Complex and brandy-toned. Minty dark chocolate, papaya-like fruit, hints of musk and sweetly pungent fir in aroma and cup. Brisk but juicy acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Richly sweet though drying in the finish.
Notes
This Ethiopian coffee is a dry-processed or "natural" coffee, meaning the beans were dried inside the fruit rather than after the fruit has been removed, as is the case with wet-processed or "washed" coffees. Crimson Cup is a micro-roaster based in Columbus dedicated to offering high quality coffee and to helping independent cafes brew and serve it better. Who Should Drink It
A crisply (and skillfully) light-roasted version of the fruit-and-brandy style of southern Ethiopia natural-processed cup.
