Blind Assessment
Quietly balanced, complex. Butter, roasted cacao nib, flowers, tangerine, a deepening hint of musk. Sweetly crisp acidity; satiny mouthfeel. Flavor, flowers in particular, saturate a delicate but richly dry finish.
Notes
This blend combines, with originality and tact, coffees of the peaberry grade from three distinguished origins: a pulped natural from Brazil’s famous Daterra Farms, a Kenya Kabare, and a Tanzania Ruvuma. Peaberries are a kind of bean that results when the coffee fruit develops only a single, oval bean rather than the usual pair of flat-sided beans. Peaberries produce a somewhat different (often better) cup than normal beans from the same crop, from which they may or may not be separated during grading. Flight Coffee Co. (formerly CQ Coffee Roasters) is a coffee-loving, quality-focused roasting company based in Bedford, New Hampshire. Visit www.flightcoffeeco.com or call 603-836-6228 for more information.
