Blind Assessment
Round, sweet-toned aroma: flowers, molasses, spice. In the cup intense but sweetly balanced acidity, silky mouthfeel, lemon, floral and caramel notes. Sweet, rich, citrus-rind- and nut-toned finish.

The fields of Finca Las Lainez are planted entirely in the heirloom Bourbon variety of Arabica. A prize winner in the 2008 El Salvador Cup of Excellence competition, where as a green (unroasted) coffee this lot attracted a score of 89.31 from an international jury.
