Blind Assessment
A delicate, balanced, sweet-toned profile. Nut, raisin, and a hint of aromatic wood in the aroma. In the cup soft acidity, plush mouthfeel, more raisin and a continued hint of aromatic wood, but more distinctly dark chocolate and flowers. Sweet short finish, perhaps very slightly woody in the long.
Notes
Grown on the Sethuraman Estate, this coffee is processed by the pulped natural method, meaning the skin is removed from the coffee fruit immediately after picking, but the seeds or beans are dried with the sweet pulp, or fruit flesh, still adhering to them. Kaapi Royale is an exporter of fine Indian coffees, including the coffees of the Sethuraman Estate. A limited supply of this coffee will be roasted in Hawaii for Kaapi Royale. Visit
Who Should Drink It
Quietly complex, delicately lush dried-in-the-fruit coffee. Best black, but fat enough to take some milk.
