Delicate, sweet-toned, giddily bright. Honey and rose-like flowers dominate in aroma in cup, with hints of ripe orange and moist pipe tobacco. Fruit-saturated acidity, light but very smooth mouthfeel, richly resonant finish in which the honey and floral notes turn vaguely but pleasingly toward milk chocolate.
Elegant, sweet-toned, balanced. Buttery dark chocolate, flowers, crisp hints of nut and orange. Well-integrated acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel, cleanly rich finish.
Grandly pure and sweetly acidy. Symphonic citrus notes range from ripe orange to tart lemon to pungent bergamot, with a softening hint of flowers and a rounding hint of cocoaish nut. Lightly syrupy mouthfeel. The cocoa note turns decisively chocolate in a richly dry finish.
Depth and syrupy opulence in an extravagant aromatic profile: heavy-scented dusk flowers, rich, almost carnal fruit (apricot, plum, cherry), a brightening hint of lemon, crisp cocoa intensifying toward a resonantly flavor-saturated finish.
Exhilarating fusion of lemon, honey and pungent cocoa with an underlying round, cherryish fruit in aroma and cup. Bright acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel, crisply dry but flavor-saturated finish.
Flowers balanced by crisp cocoa and fresh-cut fir. Brisk acidity. Smooth mouthfeel just a little fatter than silky. Deep, flavor-saturated finish.
Ripe lemon dominates, with rounding complications of apricot and nut-toned chocolate and a crisp hint of fresh-cut fir. Rich, dry acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel; deeply lemony finish.
Crisply dry chocolate, dusk flowers, pungent fresh-cut fir and a hint of lemon in both aroma and cup. Quietly penetrating acidity, silky mouthfeel. The complex, heady aromatics fade somewhat in the finish.
Lemon, nut, molasses and sweet flowering grass dominate in a lighter roasted Yirgacheffe. Rich, sweetly tart acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel, flower-and-molasses-toned finish.
Crisp, bittersweet: lemon, bergamot, dark chocolate, a hint of flowers. Brisk, dry acidity; silky mouthfeel. Flavors linger in the long, dry finish.

Pungent fresh-cut fir dominates in aroma and cup with complex fruit and floral complication: dark chocolate, plum, a touch of cherryish brandy. Sweetly bright acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. The flavor simplifies slightly in an otherwise rich, sweet finish.

Floral notes dominate in the aroma, nut in the cup, with orange and dark chocolate complications in both. Balanced, rich acidity, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Long, sweet-toned finish with considerable flavor persistence.
Tart bergamot-like citrus and baker’s chocolate dominate, with rounding and deepening hints of sweeter, low-acid fruit. The acidity is tart and penetrating, the mouthfeel silky. Dry chocolate dominates in the finish.
Light roasting foregrounds the nut and lemon-orange character with a backgrounded spicy rose note. At its most complex in the aroma, where the nut displays a cocoa-like crispness and the rose is particularly deep and spice-toned. Balanced, buoyant acidity, silky mouthfeel. The nut note carries into a rich though rather simple finish.

Evaluated as espresso. Subtly complex in aroma and small cup: brown sugar, fir, dark chocolate, raisin, with a brightening hint of lemon. Syrupy mouthfeel. The dark chocolate becomes more distinct in the finish and in two parts milk blossoms with depth and sweetness.
A round, deep-toned cup dominated by fir-like aromatic wood and dark chocolate with hints of nut, prune and tamarind. Rich, low-toned acidity, big body.
Gently and richly charred cedar, dark chocolate, and a hint of lemon agreeably dominate in this dark-roasted blend. Heavy body, slightly lean mouthfeel. Sweetness trumps a slight roasty astringency in the rich finish.
Balanced in aroma and cup. Floral tones are complicated by layers of tartly sweet fruit (cherries, currants, raisins). Bright, yet refined acidity, silky mouthfeel. Soft fruit tones last deep into the finish.
Deep, rich and pungent in aroma and cup. Roundly sweet with flavors that layer dried berries, apricot and spicy tea rose atop dark chocolate. Flavors penetrate deep into a long, resonant finish.
Price: $20.00/500 grams (17.6 oz.)
Evaluated as espresso. Sweet-toned and round. Caramelly sweetness softens toasty citrus tones and fleeting hints of lavender and carob in the small cup. Flavors linger delicately and cleanly in the finish. The sweetness theme persists in two parts milk: subdued layers of lemon, flowers and more carob.
