Blind Assessment
Roasty, rich, earthy-sweet. Cocoa powder, tamarind, scorched cedar, cashew brittle, fresh humus in aroma and cup. Gentle, round acidity; plush, syrupy mouthfeel. Gently drying finish with notes of cocoa powder and scorched cedar.
Notes
Peet’s Coffee, now a national chain, was founded by Alfred Peet in 1966, making it one of the first and most influential specialty coffee roasters in the U.S. Visit www.peets.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A dark-roasted twist on the Mocha Java blend from a national chain that is a widely accessible go-to in the U.S. when you’re in the mood for deep, dark familiarity.
