Blind Assessment
Crisply sweet, nut-toned. Roasted nut, apricot, malt, a hint of rhododendron-like flowers in aroma and cup. Despite the prominent nut notes, the acidity is quiet but juicy and lively. Lightly syrupy mouthfeel. The fruit moves forward and the nut recedes in a sweet finish.
Notes
The term natural means this coffee was dried inside the entire fruit rather than after the fruit was removed. Most Brazil coffee is dried inside the fruit, but this natural Brazil shows a particularly ripe fruit character not entirely typical for Brazil versions of the type. Namusairo is a boutique café and artisan roaster founded in Seoul, South Korea in 2002. Visit www.namusairo.com for more information.
Who Should Drink It
A fine rendition of the classic Brazil dried-in-the-fruit, natural-processed cup.
