Rich and deeply sweet. Caramel, gardenia, apricot, malt in aroma and cup. Gentle, richly rounded acidity; richly creamy mouthfeel. Caramel and malt carry into the clean, gently drying finish.
Notes
Burundi is a small, landlocked country in Central Africa. Most coffee is grown in the mountains of the north, bordering Rwanda. Benefiting from ideal growing conditions and large plantings of Bourbon and related heirloom varieties of Arabica, Burundi coffee has an excellent reputation and a growing following among North American specialty roasters. This is a wet-processed or “washed” coffee, meaning that the fruit skin and pulp were removed from the seeds or beans before they were dried. Ghost Town is a small-batch roaster, wholesaler, equipment supplier and training resource located in Bozeman, Montana that takes great care in responsibly sourcing top-quality specialty coffees.
