Blind Assessment
A pure, ready-to-drink bottled coffee tested over ice. Bright, dry, nutty. Brisk, nut-toned acidity; full, syrupy mouthfeel. Walnut, roasted cacao nib, lemon, a sweetening hint of honeysuckle in flavor; tartly lemony in the finish. A small volume of cold milk develops sweetness and chocolaty depth.
Notes
This coffee is certified fair-trade and organically grown, and is prepared by the cold-brew method, which involves prolonged steeping of ground coffee in cold or room-temperature water and subsequent filtering. Bottled and sold without additives or any ingredient other than coffee and water. Secret Squirrel is run by two cold-brew coffee enthusiasts with a passion for good coffee. Who Should Drink It
Crisp and pleasant black, but makes an especially good cold-brewed choice for those who like to add a bit of milk or whitener to their iced cup. Appealing as well to those who prefer to purchase certified organic and/or fair trade products.
