Blind Assessment
Crisply sweet-tart, fruit-toned. Vanilla yogurt, Ibarra chocolate (chocolate with cinnamon), gardenia, amber, date in aroma and cup. Rich, sweetly tart structure with bright, tangy acidity; syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. Resonant, flavor-laden, long finish.
Notes
Produced by Diofanor Ruiz of Buenavista Farm entirely of the Castillo variety of Arabica and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). Plat Coffee is a specialty roaster and café in Hong Kong. For more information, visit www.platcoffee.com.
Bottom Line
A uniquely composed natural-processed coffee with unusual yogurt-like nuance layered with chocolate, fruit and floral suggestions.
