Blind Assessment
Sweetly nut-toned. Pistachio, red apple, lemon verbena, oak, agave syrup in aroma and cup. Sweet structure with gently brisk acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. The nut-toned finish has undertones of lemon verbena and oak.
Notes
Produced by Jairo Ivan Lopez, entirely of the Chiroso variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Chiroso is an Ethiopian variety of Arabica that at some point in its history was brought to the Urrao region of Antioquia, Colombia, where it was initially cultivated by farmer Jose Arcadio Caro. VERYTIME is a specialty nano-roaster based in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Visit www.verytime.com.tw/ for more information.
Bottom Line
A friendly, balanced Colombia Chiroso with sweet nut tones and a crisp, citrusy herbaceousness.
