Blind Assessment
Lush, richly aromatic, floral-toned. Star Jasmine, pink peppercorn, lychee, bergamot, fresh-cut cedar in aroma and cup. Delicately bright, vibrant acidity; full, syrupy smooth mouthfeel. Long, lingering, floral finish with undertones of bergamot and pink peppercorn.
Notes
Produced by Rodrigo Sanchez and Claudia Samboni, entirely of the Geisha variety of Arabica, and processed by the washed method (specifically, cold fermentation, in which the temperature-controlled tanks are set to 10-13 degrees Celsius). Hub Coffee Roasters is a specialty roaster focused on single-origin coffees, with several cafes in the Reno area. Visit www.hubcoffeeroasters.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A complex, lush, flavor-saturated Colombia Geisha cup: bright, deep, reichly sweet and very nuanced.
