Blind Assessment
Richly cocoa-toned, gently citrusy. Cocoa nib, pink grapefruit zest, red grape, marjoram, cedar in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet acidity; very full, syrupy mouthfeel. Finish consolidates to notes of cocoa nib and pink grapefruit.
Notes
Produced by Jairo Arcila of Finca Santa Monica, entirely of the Pink Bourbon variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bonlife Coffee Roasters is a woman-owned specialty roaster in Cleveland, Tennessee. Visit www.bonlifecoffee.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A comfortingly familiar, classic Colombia cup, crisply cocoa-toned and balanced with pretty citrus notes throughout the profile.
