Blind Assessment
Unusual, exotic pungency; richly tart, juicy acidity. Notes of violet, white sage, apricot and tobacco in aroma and cup. Lively, lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Crisp, richly drying finish.
Notes
From an admired growing region in the southernmost Colombia Department of Nariño. Unusual for a Colombia, a dry-processed or "natural" coffee, meaning the beans were dried inside the fruit rather than after the fruit has been removed, as is the case with wet-processed or "washed" coffees. The WestBean is a San Diego-based roastery founded by two friends with a passion for coffee and a determination to bring their customers the highest quality hand-crafted coffee possible. Who Should Drink It
Those who like tree-fruit flavors paired with light floral and herbal notes in a crisp cup.
