Blind Assessment
Sweet, tangy, high-toned. Intense star jasmine, tangerine, passionfruit, cocoa nib, sandalwood in aroma and cup. Sweetly tart in structure with a savory edge; satiny mouthfeel. Long, sandalwood-toned finish.
Notes
Produced by brothers Nestor and Adrian Lasso of Finca El Diviso, entirely of the Sidra variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Sidra is an Ethiopian variety of coffee that at some unknown point in its history was selected and brought to Ecuador, then to nearby Colombia. Chromatic Coffee prides itself in doing everything in-house and meticulously, from printing its attractive bags to modifying equipment to sourcing and roasting its fine coffees. Bottom Line
A very sweet, flower-driven cup, smoothly bright and intricate with nuance.
