Blind Assessment
Balanced, brightly sweet-tart. White peach, watermelon candy, agave syrup, pink grapefruit zest, lilac in aroma and cup. Floral-toned acidity; very silky-smooth mouthfeel. Lilac and watermelon notes carry the easygoing finish.
Notes
Produced by Don Luis Anibal Calderón of Finca Villa Betulia, entirely of the Papayo variety of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Mostra Coffee is a women-, minority-, veteran-, and immigrant-owned micro-roaster based in north county San Diego. For more information, visit www.mostracoffee.com.
Bottom Line
An elegant, nuanced Colombia cup carried by bright stone fruit and spicy-sweet floral notes, with especially vibrant, silky mouthfeel.
