Blind Assessment
Delicately fruit-forward, richly floral-toned. Wild raspberry, cocoa nib, narcissus, tangerine, amber in aroma and cup. Bright, juicy acidity; crisp, velvety mouthfeel. Exceptionally long, resonant, cohesive finish that maintains the harmony of the cup.
Notes
Produced at Finca El Mirador, from trees of the Caturra and Catiope varieties of Arabica, and processed by the carbonic maceration method, which involves fermenting the whole fruit in a sealed container that has been flushed with CO2, and drying in the whole fruit. Old World Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster with cafes in Reno and Carson City, Nevada. Visit OldWorldCoffeeRoasters.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A deeply aromatic, integrated, berry- and floral-toned Colombia carbonic maceration with high-toned acidity and a very long, satisfying finish.
