Blind Assessment
Delicately fruity, crisply chocolaty. Goji berry, baking chocolate, hazelnut, lime zest, fresh-cut fir in aroma and cup. Sweetly brisk acidity; full, syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. Nutty, chocolaty finish.
Notes
Produced by Diego Robelo of Finca Aquiares, and processed by the anaerobic natural method, in which whole fruit is fermented with limited oxygen before drying. The Westside Coffee Company is a Utah-based specialty coffee roaster and cafe. Visit www.thewestsidecoffeecompany.com for more information.
Bottom Line
An accessible anaerobic natural Costa Rica that leads with notes of dried berries and crisp chocolate and has undertones of complex citrus and rich nits.
