Blind Assessment
Delicately fruit-toned, richly sweet-tart. Raspberry, magnolia, baking chocolate, honey, lemon verbena in aroma and cup. Sweet-tart structure with brisk acidity; viscous, syrupy-smooth mouthfeel. The quiet finish centers around raspberry and crisp chocolate notes.
Notes
Produced at Aquíares Estate entirely of the Centroamericano variety of Arabica, and processed by the natural method (dried in the whole fruit). David's Nose is a specialty coffee roaster based in Taipei, Taiwan whose founder studied agronomy and has a deep interest in crop quality. For more information, visit www.davidsnosecoffee.com.
Bottom Line
An accessibly complex natural-processed Costa Rica that leads with distinct berry notes with undertones of crisp chocolate and sweet herbs.
