Blind Assessment
Brightly sweet, richly resonant. Red grape, cashew butter, agave syrup, fresh-cut oak, honeysuckle in aroma and cup. Sweet structure with juicy acidity; lightly satiny mouthfeel. The finish centers around suggestions of cashew and grape.
Notes
Produced by Alfonso Solis Porras of El Cedral Farm entirely of the Red Catuai variety of Arabica, and processed by the red honey method, in which the skins are removed from the fruit but the fruit flesh is allowed to dry on the beans. Old World Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster with cafes in Reno and Carson City, Nevada. Visit OldWorldCoffeeRoasters.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A rich Costa Rica red honey with inviting sweet fruit and flowers and undertones of rich nut butter.
