Blind Assessment
Richly sweet, floral-toned. Honeysuckle, cantaloupe, pink grapefruit zest, almond, oak in aroma and cup. Gently bright acidity; crisp, velvety mouthfeel. Finish leads with notes of cantaloupe and pink grapefruit zest.
Notes
Produced at Finca Lilo, from trees of the Caturra 11 and Hibrido Tico varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). Bear Lake Coffee Co., a B Corp-certified coffeehouse and roastery located in Barronett, Wisconsin, is committed to sustainability through its Coffee with a Purpose™ initiative, which ensures that farmers receive compensation well above the Fairtrade Premium for their exceptional small-batch coffee. Bottom Line
A floral-toned, washed Costa Rica complicated by melon and citrus notes grounded by rich, creamy nut tones.
