Blind Assessment
A lush and coherent cup. Caramel and chocolate in the aroma. The caramel sweetness deepens in the cup, complicated by a wine- or apple-cider-toned fruit and continued hints of chocolate. Full, round mouthfeel.
Notes
No decaffeination method is noted on the package, which probably means this Colombia was decaffeinated by the conventional or direct solvent method. Don Francisco's is the upscale specialty coffee line of F. Gavina & Sons, the large, family-owned-and-operated roasting company in the Los Angeles area. Don Francisco's is named after Francisco Gavina, the Cuban-born father of the Gavina clan.Visit www.donfranciscos.com or call 800-428-4627 for more information.
