Blind Assessment
Gently pungent, quietly intricate. Complex floral notes (lavender, rose), bittersweet fruit (orange marmalade), roasted cacao nib, fragrant sandalwood in aroma and cup. Brisk, vibrant acidity; full, velvety mouthfeel. Flowers and cacoa nib carry into a richly drying finish.
Notes
This blend consists of 50% Don Pepe Estate Baby Geisha (also spelled Gesha) and 50% dried-in-the-fruit natural Boke Ethiopia Grade 1. The “Baby” Geisha is so-called because it was produced from young, still-not-mature trees of the celebrated and distinctive Gesha variety of Arabica.
