Blind Assessment
An elegantly balanced cup, with sustained, floral-toned acidity and syrupy mouthfeel. Roundly layered notes of tartly ripe coffee fruit, citrus, cherry and dark chocolate in aroma and flavor. All carry into the finish, where the chocolate turns bracingly bittersweet.
Notes
Social Coffee took second place in the 2010 Specialty Coffee Association of America’s Roasters Choice Competition with this coffee. From the Alaska farm, a prize winner in the 2007 El Salvador Cup of Excellence competition, this lot is made up entirely of the heirloom Bourbon variety of Arabica. Based in the greater Toronto area, Social Coffee & Tea Company is dedicated to providing high-quality, fresh-roasted "Glorious Coffees for the People." Visit
